The pool was drained in August for the monsoon, as it is every year, and the masons have spent the weeks since re-pointing the twelve arches that hold up the terrace above it.
From 1 October it is open from seven in the morning until sunset. Towels and shade are on the steps. The Baoli Bar opens beside it from four, and the kitchen will send a light lunch down to the water on request.
